How do I know when I'm roaming outside of the SouthernLINC Wireless network?

When you are roaming outside of the SouthernLINC Wireless footprint, a triangle icon and/or the word "Roaming" will appear on the screen of your phone. If you leave the SouthernLINC Wireless footprint while on a call, the call will be dropped and temporarily a new call cannot be initiated. This "buffer zone" surrounding the SouthernLINC Wireless footprint has been put into place to prevent unintentional roaming charges. Once you travel out of the buffer zone, the triangle icon and/or "Roaming" will appear on the screen.

Please note that calls will not be dropped when re-entering the SouthernLINC Wireless footprint and the duration of the call will be billed as a SouthernLINC Wireless Roaming call. To avoid SouthernLINC Wireless Roaming charges when re-entering the SouthernLINC Wireless footprint, terminate the call, then initiate a new call on the SouthernLINC Wireless footprint from your subscribed-to service area.

If you place a call outside of your subscribed-to service area but you are within the SouthernLINC Wireless footprint, there will not be any indication on your cell phone that you are roaming, but roaming charges and possible long distance will apply.

Can I roam using Push to Talk, Wireless Data or Wireless Internet?

Yes, you can use Push To Talk, cellular, messaging and data services when you travel across the U.S. if you have a So Easy service plan.  Customers may switch to a So Easy plan by calling Customer Support or by visiting a SouthernLINC Wireless Dealer or company-owned sales and service location.
