SouthernLINC Wireless Presents Movies Under the Stars

Regional wireless carrier hosts free, outdoor movie series for the fourth consecutive year

ATLANTA – March 17, 2008 – SouthernLINC Wireless, a Southern Company (NYSE: SO), will launch its fourth annual season of Movies Under the Stars, a series of family-oriented films offered for the public to view free of charge at outdoor venues throughout the Southeast. This year’s movie series includes the popular films "Shrek the Third" , "Evan Almighty," and "Bee Movie."

In addition to the featured film, each Movies Under the Stars event will include a live radio remote and giveaway items. This year’s Movies Under the Stars series kicks off April 12 in Mobile, Ala. Other cities include Vidalia, Ga.; Dothan, Ala.; Montgomery, Ala.; and Tuscaloosa, Ala. The movies begin at sunset and attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket and a picnic dinner.

Movies Under the Stars participants also have an onsite opportunity to enter "The Fishing Trip of a Lifetime" sweepstakes sponsored by SouthernLINC Wireless. Professional bass fisherman Tom Mann, Jr. and outdoor enthusiast O'Neill Williams have teamed together once again to take one lucky winner and a guest on an all-expenses paid fishing trip off St. Simons Island, Ga. SouthernLINC Wireless will also offer the choice of a luxury spa or golf package, for the winner’s guest to enjoy. O'Neill Williams will be filming his cable television program "O'Neill Outside" during this trip, so the winner will appear in a 2009 episode.

Beginning April 1, 2008 and ending July 18, 2008, residents of Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Mississippi age 21 and older can enter to win this exclusive trip. The winner will be announced in late August 2008 and the trip will take place Sept. 23 - 26, 2008.
