SouthernLINC Wireless Names New General Manager of Dealer Sales

ATLANTA – March 26, 2008 – SouthernLINC Wireless®, a Southern Company (NYSE: SO), today announced the appointment of David Keith as general manager of dealer sales.

Keith will manage a team of 17 employees responsible for retaining and growing the company's existing authorized dealer relationships. He will also be responsible for attracting new third-party relationships. Keith already manages SouthernLINC Wireless’ prepaid business and its distribution channel.

"David’s knowledge and experience with our customers, our company and our industry will be beneficial when forging new relationships with authorized retail dealers in our footprint," said Rodney Johnson, senior vice president of sales for SouthernLINC Wireless.

Keith joined SouthernLINC Wireless in 1997 as the Georgia market regional manager and transitioned into new business development in 2004. Prior to SouthernLINC Wireless, he spent 10 years in wireless product and services sales. Keith received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Auburn University.
