SouthernLINC Wireless Aids Emergency Personnel Fighting Wildfires in Southeast Georgia

Company providing equipment and on-site support to ensure immediate communication during one of the area’s worst natural disasters

ATLANTA – May 2, 2007 – SouthernLINC Wireless®, a Southern Company, is helping emergency personnel respond to the devastating wildfires that have destroyed more than 80,000 acres of land in southeast Georgia by enabling Georgia Forestry Commission personnel, firefighters and other first responders to instantly communicate with one another via SouthernLINC Wireless’ Push to Talk service.
