SouthernLINC Wireless is proud to support four major 2012 professional golf events – the South Georgia Classic, Mobile Bay LPGA Classic, Regions Charity Classic and Navistar LPGA Classic.

"The best players in men's and women's professional golf travel to the Southeast to compete on some of the most spectacular courses in Georgia and Alabama," said Don Horsley, president and CEO, SouthernLINC Wireless. "SouthernLINC Wireless is proud to continue our support of PGA Tour and LPGA Tour events."

SouthernLINC Wireless will serve as the official two-way wireless provider for the South Georgia Classic, which has emerged as a marquee event on the PGA Tour's Nationwide Tour. The tournament will be held April 23-29 at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Georgia.

The Nationwide Tour is a proving ground for up-and-coming men's golf professionals, with each season's top 25 money winners receiving PGA Tour cards. Whether viewed in person or on Golf Channel, the South Georgia Classic is a great place to watch the rising stars of professional men's golf. Visit www.southgeorgiaclassic.com for more information.

The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Magnolia Grove in Mobile, Alabama will host the Mobile Bay LPGA Classic April 23-29 as well. The Crossings course, which doubles across railroad tracks, has been called “a shotmaker's layout.”  It is one of two championship layouts at Magnolia Grove with both courses named by Golf Digest's Places to Play as two of the nation's Great Value courses.

The tournament is expected to feature a full field of professional LPGA Tour golfers, including 2011 champion Maria Hjorth and favorites Paula Creamer and Lexi Thompson. For more information, visit www.mobilebaylpgaclassic.com.

The Regions Tradition – an official event of the PGA Tour's Champions Tour – will be held June 6-10 at the Shoal Creek golf course in Birmingham, Alabama.  Shoal Creek is a Jack Nicklaus-designed eighteen-hole golf course which has been a host to two PGA and one US Amateur Championships. Tom Lehman, John Cook, Jeff Sluman, and Nick Price are just four of the Champions Tour professionals who have committed to compete for the tournament's $2.2 million purse. For the fourth consecutive year, SouthernLINC Wireless is supporting the Navistar LPGA Classic. The tournament will be played September 19-23 in Prattville, Ala., on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill. A full field of players is expected to return to compete including 17-year-old Lexi Thompson, last year’s winner. Thompson was the youngest LPGA champion ever at the Navistar LPGA Classic.
