Download Apps Instructions

Download Apps allows you to download SouthernLINC Wireless certified J2ME applications directly to your wireless phone using Over-the-Air technology. All you need to do is select the J2ME application you want and download it to your phone with a few simple keystrokes. To use Download Apps, follow these steps:

• Power on your wireless phone
• Press the "Menu" key
• Using the Navigation Pad, Scroll to "Java Apps" and Press "OK"
• Using the Navigation Pad, Scroll to the "Download" icon (the Download Apps application) and Press "OK"
• The application starts and the "Download Apps" screen is displayed
• Using the Navigation Pad, Scroll to "Free/Demo"
• Press "Select" or "OK" to browse the available J2ME Applications
• Using the Navigation Pad, Scroll to the J2ME Application you want and Press "Select" or "OK"
• Review the information displayed on your screen
• Press "GET IT" to download the J2ME Application to your wireless phone
• A "Download Successful" message appears on your screen when the download is completed
• Press "Exit"

Now that you have successfully downloaded the J2ME application, you will need to install it on your wireless phone. To install the J2ME application, follow these steps:

• Press the "Menu" key
• Using the Navigation Pad, Scroll to "Java Apps" and Press "OK"
• Using the Navigation Pad, Scroll to J2ME that you downloaded and Press "OK" or "Install"
• Press "Done" when the installation is complete
• Follow any instructions provided to setup account/billing for your J2ME application
